Annoor Islamic Schoool thrives on the participation of parents. Whether you are making treats for a bake sale or wearing your traditional clothes at Cultural Day – you are involved and part of the AIS family!
Educating children takes a team, and our educators depend on a partnership with the PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) to help collectively educate and train each student. This collaboration creates a dialogue that allows for a better understanding of students and their needs.
PTO ensures many traditions at AIS continue year after year, including favorites like Cultural Day, Hajj Carnival, Class Bake Sales, Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week.
If you are looking for a way to get involved at school, PTO can help! The PTO also creates a formidable community at AIS. PTO provides the friendship and support all families need as their children grow and change.
The AIS PTO is funded by their own fund-raisers and there are no dues for families. In the school year 2016, they organized AIS first school carnival and raised about $3000 for the school with support from ISW community.
Every AIS parent and teacher are automatically a member of the PTO, and all are welcome and encouraged to participate in the activities of their choice. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org
